Lexa was born and raised just outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During High School she appeared as a semi-regular dancer on a local after school dance show, but it wasn’t until she moved to South Florida after high school where she did some modeling and landed a commercial for a hair conditioner targeting the international market. That’s when the acting bug kicked in and soon she found herself doing background work just to get on sets.

One day she was in a crowd of other background actors during a scene in the movie when she was approached to double for another actress in the film. This opportunity gave Lexa film credits and the opportunity to join SAG.  Several years later Lexa had moved to Boston and enrolled part-time in Emerson College and took some theatre classes. It was then she knew she wanted to further her education and also study acting more seriously so she moved to NYC and enrolled at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. 

After graduation and up until now Lexa has appeared in various stage, film, television and commercial productions.
